| INVISIBLE CITY | Tan Pin Pin |
Invisible City chronicles the way filmmakers, photographers, journalists, and archeologists attempt to leave their mark before they and their personal narratives disappear into oblivion. From an amateur film director trying to preserve decaying footage of Singapore, to an intrepid Japanese journalist hunting down Singaporean war veterans, Tan Pin Pin explores the doubt and the hope inscribed in ordinary moments. The film interweaves interviews, images taken from personal archives, and rarely seen photos in order to convey the fragility of memory and the contour of a city that no longer exists.
