Based on our experience, it has become clear that the future sustainability of a documentary culture in Mexico is not a question of lack of audience or enthusiasm in production, but rather, of building a lasting infrastructure for exhibition and distribution that can generate the economic incentives to stimulate further production. For this reason, starting this summer, Ambulante will launch a new distribution label, in order to distribute the following titles in art house and commercial circuits, through the company Canana Films S.A de C.V:
The Big Sellout by Florian Opitz

Cocalero by Alejandro Landes

My Life Inside by Lucía Gajá

Jonestown: The Life and Death of Peoples Temple by Stanley Nelson (www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/jonestown)
